In connection to the Viking play in Jels near Ribe there is a Viking market

The ring fortress Trelleborg by close to Slagelse in Denmark has a week long market in July. At the end of the week Viking warriors will arrive and the following weekend The Battle of Trelleborg will take place.

The ring fortress Trelleborgen in South Sweden had last year a Battle of Trelleborg in July.This year Trelleborgen is having some Viking Days in July focusing on activites mainly for tourist visitors.

There is a smaller Viking Market in the town of Jelling near Vejle in Denmark. Jelling is famous for the Jelling Stone set by the king Harald Bluetoth to honour his father Gorm and his mother Thyra. Jelling also gave name to the socalled Jelling Style in Viking art.

Last year the Viking ship The Sea Stallion was sailing north of Scotland to Dublin. This year the voyage is going south of England expecting to arrive in Roskilde at the 9th of August. The Viking Ship Museum is planning a stop for The Sea Stallion in London in july. But the plans are not yet confirmed.
